Bitsblast GmbH was founded in 2019 as the successor to openbits chamin informatik, a software company based in Basel with roots going back to 2011. The transition to Bitsblast marked a new chapter — same commitment to quality, broader scope, and a fresh structure built for the demands of modern software development.

Over the years we've grown from a small local operation into a trusted partner for enterprises, SMEs, and startups across Switzerland. What hasn't changed is how we work: directly, honestly, and with full ownership of what we build.

Today, Bitsblast GmbH is a focused team of engineers and consultants who care about the long-term success of the products and organisations they work with — not just the next delivery.

Our Offices

You'll find us at Incubâle, a loft workspace on Auf dem Wolf next to Basel's Dreispitz district — a former industrial building turned into a home for a cross-disciplinary mix of independent firms. It suits us: lean, connected, and light on hierarchy, in one of the city's more creative corners.

Basel sits where Switzerland, Germany, and France meet — an international crossroads by nature. That outlook is part of how we work: we're comfortable across languages and time zones, partnering with clients around the world.
